Government support of cultural
services in Canada takes the form of direct funding and tax and investment
measures, coupled with regulatory measures.
Canada's current policies, which are intended to encourage the
creation, production and distribution of Canadian cultural products in the
Canadian marketplace, can be grouped into the following categories: 1.Financial
